Cari Monsters — a toothbrushing game by OralAdvance Labs d.o.o.

The short version
- The camera never records anything. The picture is looked at on your own device to spot movement while brushing, and is thrown away immediately. It is never saved, never sent anywhere, and never seen by us.
- There is no account and no sign-up. We do not ask for a name, an email address, or an age.
- Progress stays on the device in the browser's own storage. Clearing your browser data deletes it.
- This is a game, not a medical device. It does not prevent or treat tooth decay.
- A grown-up should be nearby whenever a child is brushing.
1. What Cari Monsters is
Cari Monsters is a free game that runs in a web browser. It is designed to make brushing teeth more fun for children by turning a brushing session into a monster-catching game. It is made by OralAdvance Labs d.o.o., Zadarska ul. 1, 42000 Varaždin, Croatia.
By using Cari Monsters you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
2. It is not medical advice
Cari Monsters is entertainment. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, prevent, treat, or cure tooth decay, gum disease, or any other condition.
The game cannot see inside a mouth and cannot tell whether teeth are actually clean. It only detects movement in front of the camera and uses a timer. A high score in the game does not mean teeth have been brushed properly.
Nothing in the game replaces advice from a dentist or a doctor. Keep going to regular dental check-ups.
3. Children and supervision
Cari Monsters is intended to be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian. A grown-up should be present whenever a child is brushing, both to help them brush properly and to avoid accidents involving a toothbrush, a sink, or a propped-up phone.
Do not let a child walk around while holding a toothbrush in their mouth. Place the device somewhere it cannot fall.
4. The camera
The game asks for permission to use the front-facing camera. You can refuse, and you can withdraw the permission at any time in your browser settings — the rest of the game still works, and a camera-free demo is included.
Here is exactly what happens when the camera is on:
- The live picture is shown on the screen so the player can see themselves, like a mirror.
- A very small, blurred part of each frame is compared with the frame before it, on the device, to work out whether something is moving.
- Each frame is discarded as soon as that comparison is done.
No photograph or video is created, stored, or transmitted. The images do not leave the device, and no one at OralAdvance Labs can see them. There is no face recognition and no attempt to identify anybody.
5. Information we store
Cari Monsters stores the following in your own browser's local storage, on your device only:
- The player names you type in, and the colour chosen for each
- Which monsters have been caught, and when
- Session count and daily streak
- Settings such as the chosen brushing length
We recommend using a first name or a nickname rather than a full name. You choose what to type; please do not enter anything sensitive.
This information is not sent to us and we cannot read it. To delete it, remove the player in the app, or clear site data for this website in your browser.
6. Information we do not collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or any analytics about how the game is played. There are no third-party trackers, no advertising, and no social media plug-ins. We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not hold any.
The website is served by Cloudflare Pages, which processes standard technical request information such as IP address in order to deliver the page securely, as any web host must.
7. Your rights
Because the game holds no personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to look up, correct, export, or erase on request. You are in full control: everything the game knows lives on your device and can be deleted by you at any time.
If you believe that is not the case, or you have any question about privacy, write to support@carispray.com and we will answer. You also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority; in Croatia this is AZOP.
8. Fair use
Please use Cari Monsters as intended. Do not try to break it, take it apart, resell it, or pass it off as your own. The game, its characters, artwork, names, and code belong to OralAdvance Labs d.o.o.
9. No guarantees
Cari Monsters is provided free and as-is. We cannot promise that it will always work, on every device, without interruption, or that the movement detection will be accurate in every bathroom. Brightness, a transparent toothbrush, or an unusual camera angle can all affect it.
To the extent the law allows, OralAdvance Labs d.o.o. is not liable for any loss arising from the use of the game. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the game develops. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the game after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, and the courts of Croatia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your own country.
